As some of you may be aware the AWES is considering publishing guidelines/recommendations on pedestrian wind criteria for use by planners and wind engineering consultants. At the request of the AWES, Harry Fricke has kindly written up draft guidelines for comment by members. A discussion group has also been set up to facilitate discussion about the proposal and so we can archive everyone’s comments/recommendations.

If you would like to receive and review a copy of the proposed criteria, please send an email to Matthew Mason (gallery@awes.org). You will then be sent a copy of the document and added to the email list allowing you to see what everyone else is saying and to upload comments of your own.
