Beginning in 2012 the AWES will be awarding the AWES Undergraduate Wind Engineering Prize to the best final year wind engineering thesis/project from Australian and New Zealand universities.

AWES is pleased to announce the completion of its newest publication, “WIND LOADING HANDBOOK FOR AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND – Background to AS/NZS 1170.2 Wind Actions”.

All members of the wind engineering community wanting to attend need to act fast if they want to take advantage of the reduced “early-bird” registration fee and register by December 1, 2011.

The workshop will be run on February 23 & 24, 2012. The launch of the AWES Designer’s Handbook will be held on Wednesday February 22, 2012.
