- Early Bird registration is due on December 9, 2022.
- Full papers are due to be submitted by January 9, 2023 (template available through the Events section on this site).
- AWES Wind Loading Day Wednesday February 1, 2023.
- AWES21 Workshop Thursday – Friday February 2-3, 2023.
Important dates – November/December
It’s a busy few weeks for AWES with a number of submission deadlines coming up in late November and early December. These include:
- 26 November: Last day to nominate yourself or others to stand for the 2022-2023 AWES Committee Elections. To nominate or request further information, please email chair@awes.org. The election will be held in mid December.
- 26 November: AWES Undergraduate Wind Engineering Prize submissions. Prize awarded to the best undergraduate thesis or project report from an Australian or New Zealand university. For more details on submission requirements please see the AWES website.
- 3 December: AWES Research Grant applications due. AWES is offering research grant funding to assist small research projects aimed at improving the practice of wind engineering throughout the Australasian region. Further details on the grant application process can be found here.
AWES Research Grant
AWES is again offering small research grants for research to be undertaken that will improve the wind-resistant design codes and standards used in our region. For more details, please see the prize website. Applications close on 3 December, 2021.
2021 AWES Undergraduate Wind Engineering Prize
All final year undergraduate university students in Australia, New Zealand or the South Pacific are invited to apply for the 2021 AWES Undergraduate Wind Engineering Prize. Further details of the prize and submission process are available here.
AWES Summer Lecture – 29 January, 2021
