Paper submission closed for AWES16

The deadline for submission of extended abstracts to be presented at the 16th Australasian Wind Engineering Society Workshop has passed. All submitted abstracts will now be peer-reviewed with outcomes sent to authors in mid-June. If you have any further questions regarding paper submission or the review process please contact the Workshop Chair, Matthew Mason. Regular updates will be posted to this new feed and on the AWES16 webpage.

AWES16 early-bird extension and registration page down time

AWES wishes to advise that due to a security upgrade to the online registration system, the workshop registration page will be down until close of business Tuesday 7 May. We apologise for this inconvenience however security to this site is a priority for our delegates.

We have therefore extended the early bird registration deadline until 20th May.

AWES Postgraduate Prize

At AWES16 a Postgraduate Prize will again be awarded to the postgraduate student who gives the most outstanding presentation on their research. All postgraduate members of AWES are encouraged to attend the workshop and be in the running for this award. AWES16 First call for abstracts

You are invited to attend the 16th Australasian Wind Engineering Society Workshop at the Brisbane Marriott Hotel between July 18 and 19, 2013. The workshop will provide a forum for practicing and academic engineers, scientists and architects to present and discuss their latest findings in the field of wind engineering. The workshop and its social functions will allow ample opportunity for robust discussion of new and existing challenges in the field as well as encouraging networking and the development of new collaborations. A broad scope of presentation topics and attendees are welcomed.
